Great shoe, terrible fastening
It feels harsh giving 1 star as the shoes themselves are high quality in every single aspect except for the Velcro fastening. The problem is, the Velcro fastening doesn’t stick down and therefore renders the shoes completely useless and unwearable. It’s not like it’s a minor issue, the Velcro comes undone even before our son manages to take a single step, and that’s in a shoe size that’s half a size bigger than his usual.

Shoes are great but Velcro doesn’t work. Returned
These shoes are stunning and I had so many compliments about them on my little girl. They would be perfect if they had a different way of closing! I’m sooo disappointed as I want to purchase more of these but they still have the Velcro strap that doesn’t work. They clearly haven’t been tested on toddlers as is they had they would know the Velcro unfastens constantly. Please test the shoes on kids adidas before selling. And listen to customer feedback as more people will buy these if they have a different fastening! Gutted about having to send them back after a few weeks as I wasn’t paying the money for shoes that don’t work! Make them without Velcro and I’ll buy another pair.

Fix the Velcro fastenings
I love these trainers so much but the Velcro fastenings let them down. They constantly come undone with every step it’s just poor quality! I’d much prefer just elastic laces and slip on or just laces to tie than this. When we purchased these there weren’t many reviews about this issue or I wouldn’t have bought them but I will be put off buying these again until we’re in the next age range if nothing changes which is a shame because we’re only in the first size of infant! Please Adidas re think this design and change it for future colour ways!!

The Velcro design feature really needs reassessing
The Velcro on these shoes initially seems like a great idea for toddlers but it’s actually terrible! Even when off the foot the Velcro struggles to stick! Even when just trying on my toddler walked straight out of the shoe because the Velcro just comes undone straight away. For the price of these shoes, Adidas definitely needs to reassess this design feature because it just does not work, which is a shame because the shoes themselves are lovely. I notice they have also changed the Gazelles to the same fastening so can’t purchase those either!

Rubbish Velcro
Loved how these shoes looked but my daughter has narrow / standard feet and the Velcro just would not stay closed. Had to return, such a shame. Stretchy laces or basis Velcro design would be much better.

Terrible Velcro fastening!
Shoes do not stay shut when walking/ on the foot! So disappointed as I love the colour!!
Adidas.. be done with Velcro fastenings like this!!! I’d be happy to lace them up!!!!

Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Returned after one wear, the Velcro part of the elastic closing part off trainer failed, the stitching came away, very disappointed and the fact they have been out of stock since is a blessing as I would have most likely ordered them again.
I’ve bought 3 pairs of kids shoes with this type of lacing and it’s a great idea but lasts no time at all and will look messy once the corners curl up.

Velcro straps need changing asap had to send back
Love the trainers gutted I’ve had to send them back but the Velcro straps are as useful as a chocolate teapot
